It would have helped if it was AWD. By the looks of it, it’s only FWD. My old CR-V with AWD
drove through muddy trails with ease. It was no off-road truck, for sure, but it could deal with a bit of mud pretty well.

My Prius on its stock LRR tires has seen mud that deep and not gotten stuck.
(Granted, it was probably the only time the phrase “full send” has ever been uttered about driving a Prius, and that’s the only reason I didn’t get stuck, because I knew I had to keep momentum up. But still.)
